Now in our 5th year, Firehouse Cycles carries Specialized, Wilier, and Bike Friday bikes; and has a full line of accessories from leading bike equipment and clothing companies including Garmin, Gore, Assos, Mavic, ZIPP, Easton, Giro, Bell, Specialized, Campagnolo, Shimano, SRAM and many others.

Firehouse Cycles is proud to announce that we are the area's newest Specialized S-WORKS brand dealer.

We offer a full size run of Specialized TRIATHLON bicycles.  These bikes allow triathaletes to post better times & have better event experiences.  Pick our brains on why & how.

Firehouse Cycles prides itself on its professional repair and maintenance services.  We charge $65 and your mechanic has worked on thousands of bikes and owns the shop!  That will not be the case elsewhere.  Michael Joseph, owner, with 15 years experience in world class bike shops in San Francisco, Seattle and Princeton; personally works on all bikes with challenging issues.  These issues may include shifting problems, noise that other bike shops have not been able to eliminate, converting a bike to single speed or fixed gear.

Bike Service Plans?

Service plans are junk, deceptive, and a money grab.  Your newly purchased bicycle should run GREAT for at least 1 year no matter what type of cycling you do.  Service plans count on you NOT bringing your bike in for service.  Specialized frames are warranteed for their lifetime.  Many of the parts on there are warranteed for 1 to 3 years.  If your local shop doesn't take care of you for at least a year without charging you for a service plan, shop elsewhere.  Think of it as Best Buy trying to get you on the way out of the store to buy "insurance" for that TV they just told you was the best thing since sliced bread.

Firehouse Cycles has bikes for every cyclist.....towpath and in-town errands, high performance road bikes, kids bikes, triathalon bikes, 29 and 26 inch mountain bikes, touring bikes, and single speed bikes.  Bikes range in price from $160 to $8000+.

Who We Are

Michael Joseph has resided in Yardley since 1981. Mike has studied with multiple Barnett Bicycling Institute graduates and a graduate from the Cycling Engineers Institute of England. Mike is owner and manager of Firehouse Cycles.

Professional Bike Fitting Capability

Mike is a certified BG Fitter.  I have trained with industry veterans who have done fittings for the worlds top cyclists.  If it matters to you that I have been trained hands on by the same bike Guru who has done professional sizing for Alberto Contador, Tom Boonen, Fabian Cancallara, Mark Cavendish and other top cyclists in the world, then great!  If you don't know who these people are, be comfortable knowing that I have multiple years fitting, sizing, and getting what you are looking for out of your bike.  I can put you into the most comfortable and efficient position on your bicycle.  With years of experience and a patient attitude towards the process, you'll be riding comfortably.  Comfort = Speed.  Comfort = Increased distance. Comfort = Better cycling experience.
