We have excellent news for our customer base. Firehouse Cycles has recently picked up the Specialized brand. We now bring forth a full range of top-tier brands of bikes & biking equipment. While the Specialized name brand means you are going to get an excellent bicycle for your dollars, Specialized also has some excellent equipment in the way of tires, saddles, pumps etc. that we will be able to present to our customers. In short, very exciting times here in little Yardley.
Firehouse Cycles prides itself on its professional repair and maintenance services. Every bike coming to Firehouse Cycles is serviced by a professional with a minimum of 4 years experience. Michael Joseph, partner & manager with over 13 years experience in world class bike shops in San Francisco, Seattle and Princeton; personally works on all bikes with challenging issues. These issues may include shifting problems, noise that other bike shops have not been able to eliminate, converting a bike to single speed or fixed gear.
We believe at Firehouse Cycles' we have bikes available for every cyclist. We have bikes for the towpath and in-town errands, and unique road bikes unlike many of the common brand names. We have high performance triathalon bikes, and mountain bikes equipped to tackle Neshaminy Creek, Pennypack Park, Fairmount Park and Jim Thorpe. Our collection of bikes from leading manufacturers range in price from $160 to $5000+.
Who We Are
Michael Joseph has resided in Yardley since 1981. Mike has studied with multiple Barnett Bicycling Institute graduates and a graduate from the Cycling Engineers Institute of England. Mike is now an owner and manager of Firehouse Cycles. Mike continues to road ride during the winter so if you wish to get out, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday mornings are a good chance. Just call the shop.
Russ White, owner of Firehouse Cycles, is an avid biker who has completed many extended bicycle trips in the US and Europe, and has great enthusiasm for the latest and greatest bicycles.
Our Service
Firehouse Cycles offers bike pick-up and delivery service from and to your home. This service is available in Yardley, Lower and Upper Makefield, Newtown, Morrisville, Princeton, West Windsor, Princeton Township, and Hopewell.
Professional Bike Fitting Capability
Firehouse Cycles is proud to provide state-of-art bike fitting capability for our customers. We have one of the most widely respected Fitting Systems, The Fit Kit, to determine the right sized bicycle for you. Mike will be attending Specialized's Body Geometry Fit Instruction for a whole week to further enhance his fitting knowlege. Sort of like continuing education credits for bike students. Check it out...pretty cool.
